This is an installment of a daily project I’m launching for the month of October. I’ll create work revolving around the theme of identity and regrowth and I’ll update my blog with behind the scenes content, process, and finished artwork. Click through to read more. Catch up on the ongoing narrative here.
Find Part One of this installment here: Day 21/31 – A Day at the Pumpkin Patch (Part 1). I spent last Friday at the pumpkin patch by the coast and it was gorgeous. Gloomy and cold all day – fog for miles. Perfect autumn weather for California. I’ll have footage of this day up sometime next week. For now, enjoy these little photos from my time by the sea. :)
That night, I bought a beautiful edition of Gustav Klimt’s work and a gorgeous photo book of Bosch. I’ll feature some of their work on the blog some time next month.
The Devil is a simple card. It symbolizes that you are the one impeding your own progress towards your goals. The man and woman in the card are chained to the devil, but their hands remain free. They control their chains, not the devil. The card symbolizes that you feel like an unseen force is trapping you or preventing you from success. The reality is that your fate is in no one’s hands but your own.
